Imagine if the world went into an ice age,and without a way to save it, we were forced to flee.Unable to find a suitable planet to live on, and fighting with an enemy that threatens our humanity, change the very core of what humans are.Generations pass,there is no home planet anymore, Earth has long since become a myth.Each persons sole purpose for living, is to defeat the Hideauze,a sub-standard being that threatens humanity at every turn.Each person is outfitted with a Machine Calliber(mecha/gundam), which has an A.I. unit built in.And if the person can’t fight,for any reason, then they will be culled,because if you aren’t strong enough to fight,you serve no purpose.If you work long enough, approximate around 16 years of military service without death,or injury.You are allotted a small amount of time for leave,in an artificial vacation ground in which you are free to do whatever you like.
This is a story of a person who lives in such a world.
Ledo is an ensign in the United Federation of Planets, I mean the Galactic Alliance of Humankind.He has lived his whole 16 years as soldier,fighting the Hideauze,and knows nothing beyond, his life as a soldier and the propaganda the Alliance spreads.He fights with a Machine Caliber(gundam) named Chamber who is his sole companion.
